Real estate was not Christianna Pyo’s first calling — that was the beauty business, a cut-throat world that Christianna gladly left. But it was real estate where Christianna felt her true passion, which is to help others.

After being a managing broker at Long & Foster in Northern Virginia for many years, she joined Keller Williams in 2019 as a team leader. While she knew about eXp Realty at the time, she felt she needed to “see what Keller was about and get it out of my system.”

Christianna says from Day 1 with eXp, she felt she could “breathe again.”

After a couple of years at Keller Williams, she was tired of “running hard and fast with blinders on.” She finally turned to eXp to get a better life balance, enjoy eXp’s financial rewards and focus on what she loves best, which is coaching and inspiring others.

“eXp is special to me because it has allowed me to re-evaluate and re-discover what I’m really running towards,” said Christianna. “eXp affords me time with my loved ones, freedom and a career I’m really excited about, which in turn makes me a happy human that’s a pleasure to be around.”  

Christianna joined eXp Realty in February 2021.

“I felt on Day 1 I could breathe again. It has a lot to do with the support system at eXp and especially through (President of U.S. Growth) Dave Conord. He gave me a sense of empowerment; that’s what good leadership does.”

Why did you join eXp?

“In order for me to join eXp, a couple of major things had to be checked off. 

“First, about 7 years ago, I made a commitment to making a difference in as many people’s lives as possible and I chose real estate as my platform. Since then, much has changed. “One thing that did surprise me was how much I loved the eXp World! Silly, but true. To be able to get teleported in front of anyone you need to talk to and get the answers to your questions instantly is not something you’d get anywhere else!”

“Masterminds, training, networking … oh my!”

Best tip to share with other agents:

“Some people think that there’s some sort of magical door that randomly appears for ‘opportunities’ to knock on and they just get to simply answer it.  The truth is, the inner strength you’ve built, the knowledge you’ve gained and relationships you’ve fostered over your lifetime are what create opportunities. The true magic isn’t in the loudest knocks, but in the soft and low ones that you can barely hear. So, listen more than you speak, give before you take and focus on building strong, lasting relationships.”
