Denise said goodbye to a house-cleaning business and embraced the world-wide network and massive lead-generation tools that eXp Realty offers. That’s because the stars aligned for Denise: One of her clients turned out to be renowned eXp agent and influencer, Traci Gagnon

Traci and her storehouse of motivational techniques were exactly what Denise needed after a very disappointing start in real estate.

“In 2008, I had a really bad experience. A broker came and opened up a brokerage in Palm Coast, Florida, and every time I had a question, he would reply to me with ‘Figure it out, you’re a businesswoman.’ Shortly after 6 months, the broker left the business without a word; leaving the lease unpaid, and the phone unanswered. From that moment I told myself that I would not continue my passion for real estate,’’ Denise said.

Denise Feared She Was Destined to a Life of Cleaning Houses

Instead, Denise turned to a house-cleaning business for income.

“I thought being a house cleaner was all that was for me,’’ she said, until Traci jumpstarted Denise’s love of real estate sales once again. As one of Denise’s clients, Traci was able to give Denise a first-hand tutorial on all of eXp’s tools and lead-generation strategies.


“I was immediately fascinated once again. I even read her book ‘Millionaire Mindset’ and knew that it was time for me to get back to what I loved,’’ she said.

Now in her second year, Denise led the way for her husband to join eXp, too. Together they run a five-person team and eagerly participate in eXp’s virtual brokerage, bringing a multilingual ability to help buyers and sellers thanks to her fluency in Portuguese, Spanish. She also trains real estate agents in leveraging social media platforms for new business leads and running successful businesses.

Having a drive to learn something new each day.

Jennifer Lopez.

People being late to an appointment, dinner, etc.

At 12 years old I worked in an ice cream shop.
