eXp Realty continues its rapid pace of international expansion and has planted a brokerage flag in Colombia. With the addition of eXp Colombia, eXp will have brokerage operations in 13 locations outside of the contiguous United States. (Read press release here.)

In addition to its headquarters in the U.S., eXp Realty has brokerage operations in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, India, Mexico, Portugal, France, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Italy and Hong Kong.
Santiago Carrizosa, who has more than 24 years of experience in the Colombia and international real estate market, will lead operations.
“Colombia has a stable real estate market and international buyers have begun to see great opportunities for investment in the country,” says Carrizosa. “However, there remains a tremendous need for the implementation of efficient tools and models in the real estate sector. With the opening of eXp Colombia, we are looking to transform the way we sell and buy real estate, breaking down barriers and obsolete models.”
Colombia is the first country in eXp Global’s plans to expand in the second quarter of 2021. The other two countries are Spain and Israel.
