From piloting military aircraft to leading a thriving real estate business, husband-and-wife duo Emily and Carl Dieckmann have never shied away from challenges. In 2024 alone, the Dieckmanns closed $27,760,966 in sales across 77 units. Military Precision Meets Business Acumen

Emily, a 22-year veteran and retired Lt. Col., piloted C-130s during her distinguished Air Force career, while Carl, a 27-year veteran, US Air Force Academy graduate, and retired Lt. Col., flew A-10s. Their extensive military background has instilled in them discipline, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. 

Beyond their impressive military achievements, Emily and Carl have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. While still in the military, Emily started her real estate career, balancing high-level missions with building a successful business. Carl, with his deep knowledge of commercial investments, has spearheaded numerous real estate investments and land development projects, including RV parks, using his sharp analytical skills to identify lucrative opportunities.

The Journey to eXp Realty

Emily spent eight years at Keller Williams before founding her own brokerage in 2023. After a year of independent operations, she returned to Keller Williams before ultimately deciding to transition to eXp Realty in February 2025.

Her introduction to eXp came through Gilbert Gonzales, a colleague who presented the brokerage in a refreshingly different light.   • A ski shop in Angel Fire, New Mexico: Purchased after years of family ski trips, the Dieckmanns transformed Snowblaze Ski Shop into a thriving business, modernizing operations and ensuring it remained a staple in the ski community.
  • RV park development: Carl’s expertise in commercial real estate has led to strategic investments in land development, creating lucrative opportunities while shaping communities.

Their ability to manage multiple business ventures while raising three teenage boys is a testament to their remarkable dedication and vision. Emily humorously notes that their sons consume over a gallon of milk per day, fueling her drive to keep pushing forward in both business and life.

Emily’s team operates on a foundational philosophy: “Luv Yer Nay Ber.” This slogan, designed by her brother-in-law, a renowned graffiti artist and muralist, represents their deep commitment to community engagement. Their team regularly partners with churches and local businesses, reinforcing their reputation as a family-oriented, service-driven organization.

“When people join our team, it’s not just about selling real estate – it’s about fitting into our culture. We do a 30-day trial to ensure that we align internally before bringing new agents on board. We want people who share our passion for giving back,” Emily explained.
