Luis Andrew Ruiz will go to the mat for his agents and team members and likewise, they will for him. It’s perhaps why The Luis Andrew Group consistently ranks as one of the top teams in Miami-Dade for units and has closed $100+ million per year. They are on track for another record year in 2024 with 300+ transactions and $100+ million in sales.
“We joined eXp for the opportunities to grow further,” Luis said. “I can’t think of another company that offers what eXp does with revenue share, stock and healthcare. I always wanted to be part of the biggest brokerage in the world and now I am. Also, with exp, we can expand globally.”

Luis says his group of agents and operations team are a tight bunch, where nearly all are bilingual – a helpful skill when representing clients in South Florida’s heavy Latin American population.
“We try to attract for culture and look for a good fit,” said Luis, whose team mainly serves the communities of Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, Homestead, Pinecrest and Miami.
Karen Alonso, his director of operations, wholeheartedly agrees.
“Our motto is ‘We live here. We play here. We work here.’”
She said the Miami-Dade community has affectionately dubbed them “T-Lagers,” after their distinct TLAG logo (The Luis Andrew Group).
“My ops team is more important than anything,” said Luis. “They are trustworthy and have the company’s best interests at heart. They are the ones who put your company first.”
Luis’s Background Is in Finance, Working for Fortune 500 Companies
Luis began his professional career in finance and accounting where he worked for large Fortune 500 companies, managing their cash and liquidity. Like a good business mind, he bought a couple of homes as an investment and enjoyed the process. His real estate career took off from there.
Luis says the global opportunity is another plus for joining eXp.
“I’m excited about the potential to be a founding father in establishing an eXp footprint in other countries,” said Luis.
eXp Realty agent Eric Orland says he has been in contact with Luis for years about joining eXp and the time has finally arrived.
“I’ve considered making the move for years,” said Luis. “It has always felt too good to be true and I never took the time to truly understand eXp’s model. Now that I have joined, I’m asking why did I wait so long?
“I also like that once we build this up with revenue share, if something happens to me, this can get passed over to my kids. I think that is extremely important to leave a legacy.”
