This year at EXPCON, Learning Paths were not only a big focus but also a big hit with agents in attendance. Don Hobbs, eXp agent, hosted the first Path with a theme of “Pursuit of Production,” tailored toward agents who are developing their early to mid-careers.
eXp’s top attractors provided insight into what it takes to generate leads, get listings and satisfy buyers with proven strategies for planning daily and weekly activities as well as effectively communicating with clients.
Kyle Whissel, the broker and owner of Whissel Realty, gave the first presentation about charting your course, defining the key pillars to building a successful business framework. The workshop host was Jacqui Bowman, Ohio-based agent and private elite real estate coach, and the trainer was Dan Beer of Beer Home Team, whose trademarked 5 Day Blitz™ home selling process helped produce record sales in 2019.
“One of the most important pillars for success is mindset. Every day, you start with getting your brain turned on, your body turned on and your heart turned on,” said Kyle Whissel.
The theme for the second workshop was “Ignite Your Buyer Business” with Curtis Shewell, Chief Growth Officer of Sold with Mark Z, who opened the high energy workshop addressing agents looking to launch the next phase of their career. The second half of the workshop was hosted by eXp Realty agent and motivational speaker, Glenn Bill, and North Carolina eXp Realty agent, Kathy Byrnes. Agents learned proven strategies for generating buyer leads, serving buyer clients at the highest level and turning buyers into sellers.
“Want to know how to get a listing? Find a buyer a home they want to buy. And how do you do that? You sell a home from outside in — community, neighborhood, street and house,” said Curtis Shewell.
In the final session, the theme was “Ready. Set. Launch” and was led by Alabama eXp Realty agent and top coach in the industry, Ricky Carruth, who provided the keynote in collaboration with NYC agent, rising star and founder of Goldbar, Juan Carlos Barreneche. The session reviewed the secret behind communicating better with your leads.
“Genuine curiosity is what needs to drive you. The secret behind creating a relationship with clients is true communication with zero expectations. Communicate who you are and genuinely connect, and you’ve made a client for life,” said Carruth.
