eXp’s Keifer Rowlands Improves People’s Lives Through Real Estate, LGBTQ Volunteer Work

With more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage and real estate industries, eXp Realty’s Keifer Rowlands brings an unwavering commitment to provide his clients with the highest level of personalized service to ensure they successfully complete their transactions. 

He loves to improve people’s lives through real estate, whether it’s a young family buying a starter home, a client selling a high-end estate home or the purchase and sale of multi-family rental properties.  

“I love being able to help people achieve one of their big dreams — homeownership,” said Rowlands, who joined eXp Realty in July 2019 as an agent operating in Phoenix, Arizona and Los Angeles, California. “My mantra is service, integrity and respect.”

In his free time, Rowlands also strives to make a positive impact in the world around him: 

• Volunteering at the Movement Foundation in Los Angeles, a non-profit that invests in underserved schools and communities.
• Serving as a board member of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, which supports LGBTQ youth and promotes tolerance and a culture of equality regardless of sexual orientation.
• Contributing to UPWARD for Children & Families, a nonprofit that provides education and therapy to children and their families in Phoenix. 

In March 2021, he was named to the Victory Campaign Board, a subsidiary of the Victory Fund, a national organization that works to achieve and sustain equality by increasing the number of openly LGBTQ elected officials at all levels of government who reflect the diversity of those they serve.

For 2021, he looks forward to building a team and attending real estate classes through eXp World. 

“I love the virtual training,” Rowland said. “I find eXp to be a positive, education-focused company. I like that there is a lot of support. I’m happy to be part of a real estate company that’s constantly innovating and growing, and I appreciate its culture of inclusion and solidarity.”

“I’ve been out since I joined eXp and have been completely welcomed,” Rowlands said. “I belong to the eXp Pride Network and have served on its conference panel.”

When and why did you join eXp?  

“I joined in July 2019. The training and technology made it a no-brainer for me — I wanted in.”

What makes eXp special to you?  

“The people and the support — it’s really wonderful.” 

Is there a significant experience you can share since you joined eXp?

“I think my favorite experience at eXp was the first conference that I attended, which was in the fall of 2019 in Las Vegas. (eXp influencer) Brent Gove presented. I really enjoyed that. It got me motivated. I learned a lot more about eXp.”

What is one thing about eXp that surprised you?

“Definitely the revenue share model. I think it’s fantastic. I love it.” 

What kind of collaboration have you experienced at eXp?

“Really, my collaborations have been with Arizona Real Estate agents Erik Kelly and Curtis Johnson. I have also attended Kevin Kauffman and Fred Weaver training sessions about how to build revenue share and how to build business.”  

Best tip to share with other agents: 

“Don’t give up, and daily focus on your priorities is essential.”
