RISMedia power broker 2022

eXp Realty is on a roll. For three consecutive years, eXp has been recognized as one of the top five brokerages on RISMedia’s Power Broker Report. 

In the 2022 RISMedia Power Broker Report, eXp Realty ranks No. 3 among the Top 50 Brokerages for residential home sales in the U.S., a list calculated from a survey of more than 1,000 brokerages. RISMedia’s Power Broker Survey is the industry’s longest-running, preeminent ranking by residential sales volume and transactions.

For this survey, eXp Realty reported $132,373,314,489 in total closed residential sales volume, 355,627 in closed residential transaction sides and 63,143 real estate agents in 2021. 

“It is a tremendous honor to once again be recognized among the top five brokerages of RISMedia’s Power Broker Report,” said Glenn Sanford, Founder, Chairman and CEO of eXp World Holdings. “We first appeared on the list in 2019 and have risen through the ranks at an explosive pace, with a three-year growth average of 89% in sales volume and approximately 70% in transactions.”

As for how the events of 2021 will impact the market in 2022, eXp Realty cited strength in the face of adversity as a common theme since eXp began. When eXp opened the business in 2009, resilience was a key factor in creating a model built for both strong economies and challenging housing environments. 

In 2021, eXp World Holdings reported record full-year revenue of $3.8 billion, a 110% year-over-year increase driven by an agent count increase of 72%.

Brokers who rank in the Top 500 will be recognized at RISMedia’s Annual Power Broker Reception & Dinner in conjunction with the National Association of REALTORS® Conference & Expo on Nov. 11, 2022.
