In what is anticipated to be a dynamic and highly charged presentation, Cassandra Worthy, a noted expert in transformational change within companies, will give the keynote on Saturday, May 20, during the ninth annual eXp Shareholder Summit, taking place at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
Worthy is a rare talent who transitioned from working for two decades as a senior chemical engineer in Proctor & Gamble’s R&D department to a noted expert and consultant in helping organizations navigate change.
As one of the very few Black women in the STEM field, she worked on notable brands such as Pantene, Gillette and Duracell. But, in the aftermath of a $5B acquisition, she almost quit due to frustration and stress. Instead, she turned the experience into an opportunity to “transform that feeling into something better” and to teach others to embrace change.
She is the founder of the Change Enthusiasm® Strategy, which has helped companies pivot, navigate, adopt and accelerate during times of change, and is the author of Change Enthusiasm: How to Harness the Power of Emotion for Leadership and Success. Worthy is a two-time TEDx speaker and a noted disruptive thought leader on the change companies need to implement in order to build organizational resilience and adaptability.
Worthy is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering.
