Stacey Wyatt exp realty

Atlanta’s Stacey Wyatt has a diversified business portfolio for a reason. While working on the development side of a large-scale multi-family residential developer in 2008, the market crashed and the entire development team was downsized as construction came to a screeching halt.

Stacey Wyatt vows to never have just one revenue stream.

After the crash, he vowed two things: “I will never work for someone else again and I will never have just one revenue stream.”

That’s why eXp Realty’s business model fits so well into Wyatt’s mind-set of multiple income sources and why he made the switch from his former brokerage in November 2019.

For one, he loves the idea of being an actual shareholder of eXp through stock awards and the ability to purchase stock at a discount.  “The agents of eXp are true shareholders and owners of the company, not just stakeholders,” he said.

Secondly, he also values eXp’s cloud-based platform, which is especially timely during this current coronavirus outbreak.

“With a simple wireless connection from anywhere in the world, we can walk into our broker’s office, into accounting, tech support or into a training class,” said Wyatt of eXp’s virtual world. “It is such an efficient and effective model — I truly believe this is the way of the future.”

And third, Wyatt also likes eXp’s revenue share model that allows for growth and collaboration with top producers and like-minded agents, and also provides the opportunity for an additional,  and substantial, long-term income stream.

“We can attract, teach, train and learn from each other. We all have a vested interest in seeing each other succeed,” said Wyatt. “I love pouring my energy into people and love to see them grow both personally and professionally. It is my ‘Big Why.’”

Atlanta’s Stacey Wyatt Group.

Wyatt runs the Stacey Wyatt Group, a full-service real estate team that covers the metro Atlanta area to help people buy, sell, invest, build or renovate. Transactions range from $20,000 to $1.5 million. In 2019, Wyatt’s team completed $33 million in sales on 90 transactions.

Wyatt, who has a degree in architectural/structural engineering, is also a licensed general contractor and is quickly scaling another pillar to his business that buys, holds and flips investment properties.

“My business is set up that if you cut off one income stream, another will kick in,” he said.

“I love eXp’s model. It removes the borders and friction of a traditional brick-and-mortar franchise system,” he said.
