The Kendrick Team had already shown its customer service and sales prowess when it rose to become one of Central Florida’s top-selling teams. That was in 2016, when Kevin was joined by his wife, Yvette. The pair embraced a community interaction model in their Orlando-based territory that saw their customer base and sales skyrocket.

“We grew quickly, going from $20M to $44M to $75M in three short years,’’ Kevin said.

“Since that day I have made it my purpose to talk to people daily, let them know what I do and how I can help them, their family and friends and their sphere. My business has increased every year in volume,’’ Kevin said.

And yet, even with its eye-popping growth, The Kendrick Team knew they had even more upside potential. So in January 2022, they made the switch to eXp Realty.

“Ultimately, it was about support. We grew quickly at Keller Williams, but I never felt like my previous brokerage sat me down, heard our pain points and found a way to support us. Once we got to eXp, we went to $85 million in 2022 and $95 million in 2023.”

Like many top agents who make the move to eXp, Kevin said the network of “entrepreneurs, not real estate agents per se’’ was what he loves the most.

“I joined in January 2022. Initially, Veronica Figueroa is the person who brought our team to eXp. She had a knack of asking the right questions and really understood the struggles that we were having as a team whose business exploded in a short period of time. I never felt like she was trying to recruit me — just help me,’’ Kevin said.

“I loved that on my first eXp trip to Cabo for the ‘One Big Fire’ event, I was able to sit and have lunch with (eXp World Holdings Founder, CEO and Chairman) Glenn Sanford. I met Realtors from across the country who were interested in helping me grow my business.”

“I love that many think outside the box other than the traditional ‘Who do you know who wants to buy, sell or invest in real estate?’ ” Kevin said.

In addition to the support, networking and international associations afforded by eXp’s unique virtual brokerage, Kevin admits his other favorite aspect of the company is the stock.

“In my previous brokerage, I walked in with nothing and left with nothing and made the owners a lot of money in the process. At eXp I feel that I am valued and appreciated.”
