eXp Realty Social Media Manager Kate Brosche Tracy led a four-agent panel discussion “Scaling Social Media With the eXperts” at the eXp Shareholder Summit on Wednesday. The panel included eXp Realty agents Halle McCrory, Will Higgins, Renee Funk, and Ann Stewart and they discussed social media growth strategies.
Halle McCrory, who leads the Empower Real Estate Group and has been mentored by HGTV’s Tarek El Moussa, said “The value in social media is the relatableness.” She shared that her biggest lesson has been “…showing up and being [herself].”
When asked about his success on Instagram, ICON agent Will Higgins listed his three keys to growth on the platform:
1. Optimize your profile
2. Give information of value
3. Drive leads to a funnel
ICON agent and Team Leader Renee Funk offered her advice for achieving success on LinkedIn. She said to “Optimize your profile … get the most leverage from your skills and recommendations.”
Anne Stewart, who leads the Stewart Real Estate Group, has found the greatest success with TikTok. She said, “After years of doing Instagram, Facebook, etc…my TikTok has dominated all of them.”

While the audience submitted questions for the panel, eXp Digital Marketing Manager Andrew Rice shared a list of steps for successful social media ads:

- Identify your goal
- Determine your target audience
- Capture your video
- Tailor your ad and roll it
