When Brian Simmons first heard about eXp Realty, he was already an established agent in Southern Oregon — but he knew there had to be something more. After being approached by a traditional brokerage offering a slightly better split than his current firm, Brian got curious.

“I figured if there’s a better deal out there, maybe there’s something I haven’t seen yet,” he recalled.
A quick Google search led him to eXp, and within a day, he was meeting with local eXp Realty agent Jamie Batte to learn more.
“As soon as I saw the model and the wealth-building potential, it was a no-brainer. I would’ve been irresponsible to stay where I was. I was probably the easiest recruit he ever got.”
He Has ICON’d Every Year at eXp
That decision in 2019 would prove to be transformational. In his first year with eXp, Brian tripled his production — the start of a trajectory that earned him the coveted ICON Agent award five years in a row.
“The momentum here is real. eXp gave me the training, tools, and network to grow faster and dream bigger than I thought possible.”
Brian’s Team On Pace to Hit $60M in Volume
That dream got even bigger in 2024 when Brian teamed up with fellow top producer Josh Berman to launch the Buying Southern Oregon Real Estate Team. Just months in, the team has grown to 20 agents and is on pace to close over $60 million in volume and more than 100 transactions in 2025.
Their success is powered not just by experience and hustle, but also by the region’s most-watched real estate YouTube channel — Buying Southern Oregon — which connects with relocation buyers from across the country.
The Opening of an Office
As a result of that growth, the team recently opened a new brick-and-mortar office in Central Point. On May 1, they celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event that drew over 100 attendees, from clients to community leaders.

For Brian, the office is much more than just a place to meet — it’s a symbol of how far he’s come since that one fateful Google search.
“This new space represents our commitment to serving Southern Oregon with excellence,” he said. “But more than that, it’s a reflection of the culture we’ve built through eXp — one of collaboration, leadership, and real opportunity. And we’re just getting started.”
