As affordable healthcare coverage continues to be an increasing concern among Americans, eXp Realty has announced it is providing its entire agent community with innovative and low-cost health insurance choices for their health care. 

eXp has partnered with insurance brokerage Clearwater Benefits to provide eXp agents and their families across America with the option to enroll in its plans. eXp Realty agents have a choice of enrolling in traditional insurance or an innovative healthcare option that is potentially more affordable than coverage purchased on the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Real estate agents are independent contractors who typically buy health insurance on the open market, which can be costly. A 2018 National Association of REALTORS® study showed that 14 percent of members do not have health insurance. According to Clearwater Benefits, independent contractors enrolled in their programs save an average of $10,000 on fixed healthcare expenses and 80 percent on out-of-pocket expenses.
