That’s why John Tobison, Chief Information Officer of eXp World Holdings, was just named among the 2020 Tech Trendsetters by HousingWire.
Tobison is in charge of the backbone for eXp’s information technology, software, and data for the many websites of one of the world’s fastest-growing residential and commercial real estate companies, including eXp Realty, eXp Global, eXp Commercial and Virbela. Add to it the responsibility of maintaining security and accessibility — while scaling the products — and it’s clear it’s an enormous undertaking.

Tobison brings three decades of experience in business and information technology management to his role with eXp, which has been able to rapidly scale its products, business processes and staff capabilities. Throughout 2020 and in the face of a pandemic, the company has experienced record financial results as well as rapid agent growth.
Previously, John spent many years consulting in international technology and helped grow three early-stage software companies into market leaders as the CIO for each of them.
