From Military Service to Real Estate Success

Olverson credits his success in real estate to the grit and tenacity he honed in the Army. “It takes resilience to navigate an ever-changing market, and my military experience gave me the tools to thrive,” he says.

After co-founding One Dream Realty with Sarah Romero, Venus Bolton, and Vincent McFarley, their team quickly grew, closing $60 million in annual sales with 17 agents. They remain on track to reach $50 million in sales this year, further cementing their status as industry leaders.

Beyond his role as a real estate agent and mentor, Olverson is also an investor and entrepreneur. He owns two GRID franchises in Virginia Beach and Richmond, part of the world’s largest agent-led real estate investment network. His investment portfolio includes over 60 units per year, valued at approximately $12 million in transactions.

A Brief Detour – and a Triumphant Return to eXp Realty

In early 2024, Olverson made the bold move to start his own brokerage, temporarily leaving eXp Realty to explore new opportunities. However, after four months at Covenant Realty, he realized that eXp’s agent-first model, leadership support, and unparalleled growth opportunities were unmatched.

“Leaving eXp was never about dissatisfaction – it was about seeing if I could create a bigger impact,” Olverson explains. “But I quickly realized that I already had the perfect platform at eXp to grow, scale, and support agents at the highest level. Coming back was an easy decision – eXp has always felt like home.”

Building a Thriving eXp Realty Branch in Richmond

With a renewed sense of purpose, Olverson returned to eXp Realty and set out to create a powerhouse branch in Richmond. His goal? To provide agents with the best of both worlds – the flexibility of a virtual brokerage combined with a strong local presence for collaboration, training, and client meetings.

Married to his wife Margarita for over three decades, he is a proud father of three and a grandfather of three.
