Alexander Calle

Alexander Calle, a.k.a. The Jersey City Realtor, is a first-generation Jersey native. When his mother lost her job in 2017, it pushed him into overdrive to find work and opportunities to help the family make ends meet. That’s when he entered the real estate world – even though he was still in college.

Ever the entrepreneur, Alexander Calle has his own clothing line too.

Alexander’s first six years were spent at Keller Williams. He then launched his own brokerage in 2022, wanting to take control of his market share and brand. But, after a few months, he realized eXp Realty was where he needed to be and pronto.

“When I was with Keller Williams, I knew of eXp when they started disrupting the real estate market in 2018-2019. However, I never took a deep dive into the eXp model. Fast forward six years, I moved to eXp within 30 days of fully understanding the model. I wish I understood the model sooner,’’ he said.

In January 2023, Alexander moved his 15-agent team plus two support staff members to eXp, reaping immediate benefits. His team, The JC Luxury Group – works with some of the biggest landlords and developers in Jersey City and in other projects across New Jersey and New York City. And to bring things full circle, his mom is the company’s director of operations.

“We focus on traditional residential sales and rentals, but also specialize in new construction lease-ups/sales. We also have our Sports & Entertainment division servicing athletes and recognized names across the tri-state area, as well as our commercial division with a major focus on new construction development,’’ he said. 

Alexander’s entrepreneurial ambitions have led him to a diverse range of interests. He serves as the Sergeant at Arms for the Latino Caucus for Hudson County, and The Ward E District 3 Committee Person for Jersey City. 

And there’s more regarding this bespoke Jersey City Realtor: Alexander also co-hosts the Jersey City Restaurant Week on behalf of the city and co-owns a custom suit company (MauFitz Custom Clothier), which explains his head-turning style and emphasis on fashion.
