Panama is known for many things: the Panama Canal, its hats (even though they originated in Ecuador), its cigars and now, an innovative real estate company. Today, eXp Panama launched, marking the 17th location where eXp Realty will conduct brokerage operations. (Read the press release here.)
eXp has been rapidly rolling out international locations since Michael Valdes, President of eXp Global, took the helm in 2020. So far this year, eXp launched in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Italy, Hong Kong, Colombia, Spain, Israel and now, Panama. eXp also plans on opening in Germany and Japan by the end of the year. In addition to its headquarters in the U.S., eXp Realty also has operations in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, India, Mexico, Portugal and France.

Luis Pimentel will lead eXp Panama’s brokerage operations. He has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, was former president of the Panamanian Association of Real Estate Brokers and was elected to serve on the National Association of Realtors (NAR) board of directors as an international member.
“I am already a strong believer in the agent-centric culture of the company and am confident that our entrance in the Panama market will create positive changes in the lives of agents and in the end buyer and seller. Our country has never seen anything like this,” says Pimentel.
