Agent rejoins exp commercial

In commercial real estate, every move is strategic. When Brian Brady, a structured finance specialist, stepped away from eXp Commercial to join a Top 10 brokerage as Vice President of Capital Markets, it was about tapping into a specialized niche.

Over the next 2.5 years, he closed complex debt and equity deals across multiple asset classes, navigating one of the most volatile markets in decades. But that journey brought clarity.

“I was an ‘employee’ there and was unable to act as an entrepreneur. I had a narrow focus and really couldn’t prospect outside of that niche.”

In 2025, he made the decision to return to eXp Commercial, where entrepreneurship, autonomy, and innovation aligned with the business he truly wanted to build.

His return started with a simple invitation from Florida Designated Managing Broker, Britney Mroczkowski, who Brian said treated him like a friend when he moved to Tampa, not just a colleague. 

Brian joined Britney at eXpcon Miami 2024 as an eXplorer, and said he felt ‘back at home’ for those three days. “I knew that I would ‘come home’ in 2025 but had business to close,” he said.

And come back he did. Now as an Advisor, Senior Vice President at eXp Commercial, Brian specializes in structured finance with a subspecialty in hospitality lending and brokerage. The focus he developed while away only sharpened his edge, but he’s clear on one thing,
