Agents join eXp Realty for different reasons, but for two Arizona families — the Petersons and Wurglers — joining eXp was simply due to the endless possibilities it offers.
“We understand the real estate side of eXp, but what we really like and will enjoy is the development side we are going to be able to provide,” said Kevin Wurgler, who, along with his wife, Annette, joined eXp in June 2023.
“We have an opportunity to help and grow other agents in the business, to provide leadership and fellowship within our communities, and give back to the communities in which we have enjoyed working for so many years. The possibilities to serve are endless.”
The Wurglers learned of eXp through eXp Realty agent Debbie Pastori of Sun City West, Arizona. At the time, Wurglers were part of another brokerage with the Petersons.
“Once I learned more and more about eXp, I had to talk to Arvid. He recruited me in 2012 to join his previous brokerage, and I had to, in turn, introduce him to eXp,” said Kevin.
With that, Arvid, his wife Kay, and children Scott Peterson and Pam Lucas also joined eXp in July 2023, with experiences in real estate ranging from two to 22 years.
On Track to Grow Production By 30% This Year
Team Peterson and the Wurglers had a sales volume of over $26 million in 2022 on 60 transactions and are on track for a 30% increase in production this year. They have won many awards, are dominant in their market and are well known for their generous community involvement and sponsorship of events.
Team Peterson has consistently earned awards from WeServ (West & SouthEast Realtors® of the Valley) for their production, gaining the elite Presidents Roundtable award in 2022 for sales volume over $16 million.
Their Focus Is on 55+ Communities
Kevin says the goal of the Wurglers and Team Peterson is to have a presence in the 55+ active adult retirement communities as well as the Northwest Valley of metro-Phoenix including cities such as Peoria, Glendale, Surprise, Buckeye, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, and Avondale.
“We attended the eXp Shareholders Summit in Orlando, Florida, and that was a turning point for us. We realized then that the opportunities were endless. We want to build now and continue to build in the future,” said Kevin. “Our goal as a group is to Build and Serve! Our clients can expect the same quality service we have provided in the past. We will all have ownership in the company and will share in the profits of eXp.”
‘You Just Have to Make One Call for Help’
Kevin says while they are still new to eXp, they are very impressed with the company’s support.
“Those above us in the organization are so willing to make you and your group/team successful. You just have to make one call, and so many people are willing to help. If you have someone on your team or in your group who does not want to be a leader, it’s your job as a leader to help make them successful at their own comfort level. eXp has many leaders, and they want you to be successful. Best of all, it starts at the top with Glenn Sanford. He is doing all of this so we can succeed at the highest level.”
